	ure bearers\nare searching for viable alternatives to the traditional mode
	ls of cultural\nproduction. Cooperatives and the solidarity economy are ga
	ining traction as a\nvalues-aligned solution. But what's the difference be
	tween a worker-owned\ncooperative and a purchasing cooperative? Is an ense
	mble a cooperative? Is\ntalking about ownership inherently capitalist? In 
	this workshop\, participants\nwill learn about the fundamentals that defin
	e cooperatives and how they differ\nfrom other types of collectives\, expl
	ore case studies of cooperatives in the\narts and culture sector\, and bra
	instorm how a cooperative could meet their needs\nand the needs of their c
	ommunities. Participants are welcome to join as\nindividuals or alongside
